The hotels were all first class with amazing views of oceans, seas or panoramic city scenes. They each had incredible breakfast selections and were very clean with other nice amenities. We especially enjoyed the Mamilla in Jerusalem. The breakfast was spectacular with a variety of selections from omelets, salads and lox to assorted fruits, juices and breads. The roof top view and restaurant were first class (and reasonable). There was a lovely lounge where we met with some friends for wine and pastries. The location was also extra-ordinarily convenient with the Old City only steps away with a great mall connecting the two. The tour was also extremely will organized with a first class tour guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and a very special person who was able to balance the unique needs of grand parents with teenage children. There was plenty of time to shop, eat, relax and partake in a myriad of intellectual and fun experiences. The trips to Masada, the kibbutz in the Golan Heights, Yad Vashem and the "The Wailing Wall:" were only a few of the highlights of the many locations we visited. On top of all this, Julie and I both made some new friendships which we hope to maintain back in the States. Thanks again for helping facilitate so many life long memories!
