My career in the travel industry took roots in Israel where I lived for 10 years, quickly falling in love with the diversity of the country. And why not? … considering the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean coastline, picturesque valleys and hills in Galilee, spiritualism of Jerusalem, vast desert of the Negev, underwater life of the Red Sea, and the uniqueness of Masada and the Dead Sea. My quest for knowledge took me to every corner of the country to explore each of these unique regions.
While working as a travel agent in Tel Aviv planning trips for both individuals and groups, I wanted people from all walks of life and faiths to share my passion for Israel’s religious, archaeological, and historical sites that have captivated travelers for thousands of years, dating back to biblical times. To have my clients partake in these life-changing experiences is truly gratifying for me, both personally and professionally.
During my years in Israel, I established contacts with an extensive collection of suppliers and local guides, which today enable me to arrange special amenities, value-added pricing, and perks for my clients – many of which are only available when booking through me. I return to Israel frequently, which allows me to renew old friendships and relationships in the travel industry, plus experience new sites and restaurants that I incorporate into customized itineraries for both privately guided or group travel. Our 70-year-old agency, Wyllys Professional Travel, has developed a loyal following of customers thanks to our staff’s expertise, first-hand destination knowledge, and individual attention with great care given to each client’s travel needs, interests, and budget.
My hands-on, personal approach to travel has rewarded me with a number of humanitarian and industry recognition, including being named as the Conde Nast Traveler specialist for Israel since 2007 and to the Board of Directors of Ensemble Travel Group, a network of approximately 900 premium travel agencies in the U.S. and Canada since 2005. I am anxious to make your visit to Israel – or anywhere around the world – an experience that far exceeds your highest expectations!
