We were welcomed warmly at all our hotels and restaurants, and our entrance into museums and sites seemed effortless, a sign of how well you planned things. I know we initially questioned the special escorts, but you were right. Ben Gurion airport at three in the morning is a madhouse and the young people who escorted us through parted the crowds like the Red Sea!
We can't say enough about our guide Lior. It was a true pleasure spending time with him and his warmth, enthusiasm and knowledge enhanced our trip. He really seemed to understand just what we needed, when we needed to rest, where we would want to go, and his patience when Carol and I would stop to "shop" was admirable. We also enjoyed spending time in Jordan with Audi, and Petra was astounding!
