It is difficult to find the right words to describe the 10 day Israel adventure that Susan created for us. Incredible, fantastic, breathtaking, delicious, educational, spiritual, and quite simply amazing are pretty good start. From start to finish, our trip was a whirlwind of sights and sounds and adventure and history. Susan was an amazing travel agent to make all of this possible for us. I was so comfortable with her expertise and knowledge of Israel as we begin to plan our trip. She was attentive and responsive in meeting all of my family‘s needs. I am blind and my father-in-law has Parkinson’s disease. Susan rose to the challenge, but exceeded our expectations and making sure that we were comfortable and could enjoy our trip without worry. In addition, we had a wide range in ages. Our trip included my husband and I and our two children, ages 13 and 19. And my in-laws traveled with us, as well. They are in their 70s. No small challenge to keep everyone happy however Susan helped me plan an experience that everyone in my family will remember forever.
Our tour guide excelled at providing balance history and facts with discussion and fun when he thought people might be getting overwhelmed. He connected with each one of us on a personal level and quickly became like one of the family as we spent a great deal of time together over the course of our trip. He seamlessly engaged and informed us as he transported us to our destinations on time; once again no small feat. He was a huge part of making our trip as wonderful as it was.
We stayed in three locations during our trip. Jerusalem, Tiberius, and Tel Aviv. All accommodations were wonderful. The hotel staff in every location were responsive and helpful. It was my impression that they go out of their way to take care of Susan‘s guests. The buffet breakfast in the morning lived up to every description I have heard. The food was very good and so varied that it would be impossible for anyone to go hungry! In fact, the food from the entire trip may be one of the very best things that we will all remember! It has ruined many items that just cannot be as fresh or as good as they are in Israel.
